Seethal is a small village of 681 hectares in Simalwara Tehsil in Dungarpur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Seethal depends on Dungarpur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 95.00% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Seethal is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Seethal's pin code is 314403[4], and village code is 03361600. The area of Seethal is segregated as 240 hectares irrigated area, 215.27 hectares unirrigated, the 129.5 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 95.91 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Dungarpur to sell ghee and make their living.
