Seepur is a small village of 494 hectares in Sri Madhopur Tehsil in Sikar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Seepur depends on Shahpura, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 70.92% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Seepur is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Seepur's pin code is 332701[4], and village code is 01742500. The area of Seepur is segregated as 70.92 hectares irrigated area, 111.75 hectares unirrigated, the 9.4 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 15.9 hectare area not available for cultivation.
