Sean McLoughlin is a British stand up comedian and writer, known for his witty and relatable humor. He started out his career with a first performance at Dog & Parrot in Newcastle in 2007.[1][2] The acclaimed stand-up comedian and writer has been described as "The best comedian you haven't heard of" by Time Out and "an impassioned and uniquely brilliant talent" by The List.[3]

TV, specials and tour

McLoughlin made television appearances in BBC shows like 'Mock The Week' and 'Live At The Apollo', and in other tv shows including The Stand-Up Sketch Show, Stand-Up Central and Kevin Hart’s LOL Network. In 2024 and 2025, McLoughlin was the regular support act for Ricky Gervais' worldwide arena tour. McLoughlin also played a small role as a comedian on Gervais' 'After Life'.[4]

McLoughlin has performed at venues including the Royal Albert Hall in London, Radio City Music Hall in New York, and the Sydney Opera House. He has released two comedy specials and three U.S. comedy albums. His specials include "So Be It" (2022)[5] filmed in Bristol and "Hail Mary" (2020)[6] filmed in London.

In 2025, Sean McLoughlin is touring Europe with his new White Elephant tour[7][8] with performances in cities including Paris, Porto, Lisbon, Rotterdam, and Bruges.
