Scott Woodward is an American marketing executive.[1][2][3][4] He is the founder of the brand consultancy SEW Branded and has held executive positions with businesses such as the Arnell Group, Movado Group, Calvin Klein, and Ray-Ban.[5][6]

Education

Woodward earned a BA degree from Saint Leo University. He completed an MBA degree from Loyola University New Orleans and graduate coursework at Villanova University.[1][7]

Career

Woodward began his career at Chevron in 1987 as a marketing assistant. He later became director of global image marketing at Ray-Ban.[1][5][8][9]

In 1997, Woodward became vice president of worldwide marketing and public relations at Calvin Klein. He worked on brand campaigns for Tommy Hilfiger, Coach, Concord, ESQ, and Movado before joining Movado Group as global chief marketing officer the following year.[6][4][10][11][12] Later, he worked for the Arnell Group after Omnicom acquired it.[13]

Personal life

Woodward was a close friend of actress Farrah Fawcett. In a 2024 tribute published in People magazine on what would have been Fawcett's 77th birthday, Woodward shared memories of their decade-long friendship, which began in 1998 when he was Chief Marketing Officer of Movado Group.[4] Through his marketing work, he has also been associated with public figures including Brad Pitt, Lady Gaga, Will Smith, and Harry Styles.[4]

Philanthropy & Awards

The Hetrick-Martin Institute presented Woodward with the Emery Award in 2013 for his efforts to raise money for anti-bullying education. In 2014, campaigns developed by SEW Branded in partnership with One Direction and the Born This Way Foundation won Clio, Summit International, and Internet Advertising Awards.[14][15]

In 2025, Woodward produced a public service announcement for the Luisa Diaz Foundation that premiered at the Mia Amor Graciousness Gala in New York. Women's Wear Daily reported that the campaign promoted kindness as a leadership quality.[16] The same year, he received the "Kindness is Cool" award from the foundation. Media outlets including Times Square Chronicles and Daily Front Row covered the campaign and his remarks at the event.[17][18]

In March of 2026, Saint Leo University presented Woodward with its 2025 Distinguished Alumnus Award, recognizing his contributions to brand marketing and his philanthropic work.[19]
