Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham bin Tariq Al Said (born: August 21,1990) pronounced as Sayyed Dhi Yazan bin Haitham bin Tariq Al Said is the Crown Prince of Oman of the Sultanate of Oman[1] and the son of the Haitham bin Tariq. He is also the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports[2]. He was appointed as the Crown Prince of Oman by a Royal Decree on January 12, 2021[3].

Biography

Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham bin Tariq attended University of Oxford, graduating with a degree in Political Science[4].

His father is Haitham bin Tariq Al Said, the Sultan of Oman. His mother is Ahad bint Abdullah bin Hamad Al Busaidiyah, the First Lady of Oman[5]. He has one brother and two sisters. His uncle Asa'ad bin Tariq bin Taimur al Said Tariq is the Deputy Prime Minister for relations and international cooperation affairs, and his other uncle Shihab bin Tariq is the Deputy Prime Minister for Defense Affairs. The former Sultan, Qaboos bin Said is one of his uncles.
