Sawaipura is a small village of 547 hectares in Ajmer Tehsil in Ajmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sawaipura depends on Ajmer, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 180.48% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Sawaipura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Sawaipura's pin code is 305022[4], and village code is 02509300. The area of Sawaipura is segregated as 180.48 hectares irrigated area, 210.34 hectares unirrigated, the 73.33 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 44.52 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Ajmer to sell ghee and make their living.
