Savoi-Verem is a small village of 929 hectares in Ponda Tehsil in North Goa district, known and rated to have the best quality of life in India (based on the commission’s “12 Indicators”)[2] in the state of Goa, India.[3] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Savoi-Verem depends on CURTI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[4] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Savoi-Verem is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Savoi-Verem's pin code is 403401[5], and village code is 00019100. The area of Savoi-Verem is segregated as 114.58 hectares irrigated area, 435.62 hectares unirrigated, the 134.85 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 243.57 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Savoi-Verem is a census village in the district of North Goa, Goa. The village has a total population of 3187 and has total administration over 700 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

Employment
According to a census 2011 report, 1330 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 919 male, 411 female with 1015 (76.32%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 734 males and 281 females. 46 males and 36 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 31 male and 15 female agricultural labor. 315 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of CURTI and North Goa to sell cashew nuts and make their living.
