Saumya Mishra is an Indian semi-classical singer from Madhubani, Bihar. Known for her classical singing in Maithili language and Hindi languages. She first came in limelight after winning the popular Regional singing reality show Sur-Sangram on Mahuaa TV. She participated in Indian Idol,[1] in 2017. That time she the judges got stunned by her performance at the audition.
Early life
Saumya had started learning music from her village in Madhubani.[2] Then her family shift to Uttar Pradesh, where she completed her education and Music.
Musical career
In 2014 she participated in Indian Idol 6,[3] but she got rejected but in 2017 she got selected and got 'Golden Mic'. After that she had appeared in various music shows and has performed on various prestigious stage.[4]
