Satyaya is a small village of 28667 hectares in Pokaran Tehsil in Jaisalmer district, nicknamed ""The Golden city"" in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Satyaya depends on POKARAN, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. Satyaya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Satyaya's pin code is 345028[4], and village code is 02047100. The area of Satyaya is segregated as 1176.76 hectares irrigated area, 475.44 hectares unirrigated, the 23974.66 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 2939.71 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Satyaya is a census village in the district of Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1756 and has total administration over 304 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

The workforce is 452 male, 219 female with 557 (83.01%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 438 males and 119 females. 176 males and 16 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 74 male and 49 female agricultural labor. 114 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of POKARAN and Jaisalmer to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
