Satto is a small village of 25127 hectares in Fatehgarh Tehsil in Jaisalmer district, nicknamed ""The Golden city"" in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Satto depends on JAISALMER, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Satto is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Satto's pin code is 345034[4], and village code is 02070700. The area of Satto is segregated as 1749.51 hectares unirrigated, the 22994.65 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 382.44 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Satto has One post office (Satto B.O). The village is connected with a single bus service. Satto has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Satto is a census village in the district of Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 3325 and has total administration over 583 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jaisalmer to sell ghee and make their living.
