Satlas is a small village of 1548 hectares in Merta Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Satlas depends on Merta City, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Satlas is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Satlas's pin code is 341510[4], and village code is 01835200. The area of Satlas is segregated as 798.3 hectares irrigated area, 456.37 hectares unirrigated, the 86.17 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 207.48 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Satlas is a census village in the district of Nagaur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2144 and has total administration over 439 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Merta City and Nagaur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
