Satlana is a small village of 4798 hectares in Luni Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Satlana depends on Jodhpur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Satlana is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tanker. Satlana's pin code is 342802[4], and village code is 02001600. The area of Satlana is segregated as 566 hectares irrigated area, 2786 hectares unirrigated, the 956 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 490 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Satlana has One post office (Satlana B.O) and Forty public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Satlana has Two banks, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Satlana is a census village in the district of Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2508 and has total administration over 448 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jodhpur to sell ghee and make their living.
