Personal life
Sastika Rajendran was born in Coonoor. Sastika attended Nazareth convent high school, Ooty and completed her junior college at Stanes Anglo Indian Higher Secondary School, Coonoor. She has a masters in business administration from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore.
She recalls herself to be a chirpy and quirky little girl. She is the only child for her parents.

- Before starting to appear on screen, Sastika worked as a television show director for the kids channel Chutti TV.
- She also hosted her first show on the same channel.
- She then hosted a five minute segment on the prime time news of Sun TV. It was all about the latest trends in social media that was well received among the audience due to her various voice modulations.
- She was then offered to host live shows on Sun Music.
- This gained her immense popularity among the audience.
- She is known for her witty humour, building a strong personal connect with the callers and her dancing skills.
