Sarthala is a small village of 1175 hectares in Phulera (Hq.Sambhar) Tehsil in Jaipur district, also known as the Pink City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sarthala depends on Sambhar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Sarthala is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Sarthala's pin code is 303604[4], and village code is 01506800. The area of Sarthala is segregated as 0.78 hectares irrigated area, 888.92 hectares unirrigated, the 213.67 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 71.34 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Sambhar and Jaipur to sell ghee and make their living.
