Sarsendi is a small village of 374 hectares in Bara Tehsil in Allahabad district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sarsendi depends on Shankargarh (NP, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply which is 65.36% of the total supply, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Sarsendi's pin code is 212108[4], and village code is 05490200. The area of Sarsendi is segregated as 272.03 hectares irrigated area, the 7.325 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 37.187 hectare area not available for cultivation.
