Sarsanda is a small village of 928 hectares in Degana Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sarsanda depends on Goredi Chancha, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Sarsanda is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Sarsanda's pin code is 341514[4], and village code is 01855400. The area of Sarsanda is segregated as 95 hectares irrigated area, 693 hectares unirrigated, the 85.04 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 55 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Sarsanda is a census village in the district of Nagaur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1333 and has total administration over 279 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Goredi Chancha and Nagaur to sell earthen pots and make their living.
