Saroth is a small village of 1335 hectares in Bhim Tehsil in Rajsamand district in the state of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Saroth depends on BEAWAR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Saroth is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Saroth's pin code is 305922[4], and village code is 02959400. The area of Saroth is segregated as 228 hectares irrigated area, 370 hectares unirrigated, the 3 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 572 hectare area not available for cultivation.
