Saroorpur Kalan is a small village of 997 hectares in Baghpat Tehsil in Bagpat district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Saroorpur Kalan depends on Baraut (MB), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Saroorpur Kalan's pin code is 250619[4], and village code is 01053300. The area of Saroorpur Kalan is segregated as 694 hectares irrigated area. the 57 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 246 hectare area not available for cultivation.
