Sarna Doongar is a small village of 388 hectares in Jaipur Tehsil in Jaipur district, also known as the Pink City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sarna Doongar depends on Jaipur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, which is 201.89% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Sarna Doongar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Sarna Doongar's pin code is 302012[4], and village code is 01559100. They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jaipur and Jaipur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
