Sargeelapar is a small village of 1456 hectares in Sheo Tehsil in Barmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sargeelapar depends on BARMER, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Sargeelapar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tanker. Sargeelapar's pin code is 344701[4], and village code is 02092000. The area of Sargeelapar is segregated as 1115.88 hectares unirrigated, the 41.76 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 298.59 hectare area not available for cultivation.
