Sargaon is a small village of 609 hectares in Beawar Tehsil in Ajmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sargaon depends on Beawar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Sargaon is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Sargaon's pin code is 305601[4], and village code is 02515700. The area of Sargaon is segregated as 120 hectares irrigated area, 300 hectares unirrigated, the 22.07 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 167 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Beawar and Ajmer to sell ghee and make their living.
