Sarechan is a small village of 2230 hectares in Luni Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sarechan depends on Jodhpur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Sarechan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Sarechan's pin code is 342801[4], and village code is 01999900. The area of Sarechan is segregated as 2.37 hectares irrigated area, 2087.7 hectares unirrigated, the 40.15 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 100.13 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Sarechan is a census village in the district of Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1447 and has total administration over 267 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jodhpur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
