Sare Kalan is a small village of 376 hectares in Tijara Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sare Kalan depends on BHIWADI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Sare Kalan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Sare Kalan's pin code is 301707[4], and village code is 00801200. The area of Sare Kalan is segregated as 143.15 hectares irrigated area, 132.27 hectares unirrigated, the 2 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 31.82 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Sare Kalan is a census village in the district of Alwar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2928 and has total administration over 445 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of BHIWADI and Alwar to sell ghee and make their living.
