Sardar Samand is a small village of 3204 hectares in Sojat Tehsil in Pali district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sardar Samand depends on Pali, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. Sardar Samand is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tanker. Sardar Samand's pin code is 306401[4], and village code is 02412000. The area of Sardar Samand is segregated as 244 hectares irrigated area, 1200 hectares unirrigated, the 426 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 1334 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Pali to sell furniture and make their living.
