Sarangsar is a small village of 2520 hectares in Sujangarh Tehsil in Churu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sarangsar depends on BIDASAR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 5.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Sarangsar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Sarangsar's pin code is 331517[4], and village code is 00654800. The area of Sarangsar is segregated as 5 hectares irrigated area, 2413 hectares unirrigated, the 65 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 37 hectare area not available for cultivation.
