Sarana is a small village of 1008 hectares in Mandalgarh Tehsil in Bhilwara district, also known as the Textile City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sarana depends on Mandalgarh, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 103.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, One canal and Two springs. Sarana is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Sarana's pin code is 311604[4], and village code is 02942300. The area of Sarana is segregated as 237 hectares irrigated area, 185 hectares unirrigated, the 209 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 238 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Sarana is a census village in the district of Bhilwara, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2470 and has total administration over 491 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Mandalgarh and Bhilwara to sell earthen pot and make their living.
