Sarai is a small village of 286 hectares in Udaipurwati Tehsil in Jhunjhunu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sarai depends on NEEM KA THANA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, ,"" supply, which is 162.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Sarai is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Sarai's pin code is 333801[4], and village code is 00752900. The area of Sarai is segregated as 162 hectares irrigated area, 81 hectares unirrigated, the 10 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 33 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Sarai is a census village in the district of Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1878 and has total administration over 332 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of NEEM KA THANA and Jhunjhunu to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
