Sar Ka Par is a small village of 1362 hectares in Barmer Tehsil in Barmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sar Ka Par depends on BARMER, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Sar Ka Par is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Sar Ka Par's pin code is 344035[4], and village code is 02213700. The area of Sar Ka Par is segregated as 1104.7 hectares unirrigated, the 240.1 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 17.42 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Barmer to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
