Sapooni is a small village of 1349 hectares in Pali Tehsil in Pali district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sapooni depends on Pali, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 40.00% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Sapooni is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Sapooni's pin code is 306501[4], and village code is 02435400. The area of Sapooni is segregated as 57 hectares irrigated area, 843 hectares unirrigated, the 250 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 199 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Pali to sell ghee and make their living.
