Sanwlor is a small village of 2252 hectares in Chohtan Tehsil in Barmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sanwlor depends on BARMER, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Sanwlor is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Sanwlor's pin code is 344012[4], and village code is 02240900. The area of Sanwlor is segregated as 2002 hectares unirrigated, the 114 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 136 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Sanwlor has One post office (Sanwlore B.O). The village is connected with a single bus service. Sanwlor has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Sanwlor is a census village in the district of Barmer, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 921 and has total administration over 140 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Barmer to sell leather shoes and make their living.
