Sanwara is a small village of 646 hectares in Ahore Tehsil in Jalor district, also known as Granite City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sanwara depends on JALOR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Sanwara is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Sanwara's pin code is 307029[4], and village code is 02287700. The area of Sanwara is segregated as 144 hectares irrigated area, 171 hectares unirrigated, the 49 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 282 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Sanwara has One post office (Sanwara B.O). Sanwara has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Sanwara is a census village in the district of Jalor, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1962 and has total administration over 366 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jalor to sell earthen pot and make their living.
