Santoshnagar is a small village of 1781 hectares in Shergarh Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Santoshnagar depends on Pokaran, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Santoshnagar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Santoshnagar's pin code is 342021[4], and village code is 01975000. The area of Santoshnagar is segregated as 1760.8 hectares unirrigated, remaining 19.81 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Pokaran and Jodhpur to sell ghee and make their living.
