Santhoo is a small village of 3226 hectares in Jalor Tehsil in Jalor district, also known as Granite City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Santhoo depends on JALOR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, which is 790.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Santhoo is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Santhoo's pin code is 343025[4], and village code is 02295500. The area of Santhoo is segregated as 1185 hectares irrigated area, 258 hectares unirrigated, the 1184.29 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 599 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jalor to sell leather shoes and make their living.
