Sankhliya is a small village of 266 hectares in Shahpura Tehsil in Bhilwara district, also known as the Textile City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sankhliya depends on Shahpura, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 35.38% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Sankhliya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Sankhliya's pin code is 311407[4], and village code is 02815700. The area of Sankhliya is segregated as 65.38 hectares irrigated area, 47.22 hectares unirrigated, the 69.75 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 84.13 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Shahpura and Bhilwara to sell ghee and make their living.
