Sanjay Brahmawar (born November 18, 1970) is a Indian-Belgian software and business executive[1]. He currently serves as the CEO of Software AG[2]. Prior to that he was the General Manager for global revenue at IBM's Watson Internet of Things[3].
Early life
Brahmawar was born in India[4]. He earned his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Delhi College of Engineering and M.B.A. in Finance and Marketing from University of Leeds[5].
Career
IBM
Brahmawar started his career at IBM in 2003, where he held various roles[6]. He served as General Manager for global revenue at IBM's Watson Internet of Things from 2016 to 2018[7].
Software AG
Joining Software AG in August 2018, Brahmawar succeeded previous CEO Karl-Heinz Streibich as the Chief Executive Officer[8].
Personal life
Brahmawar is married and has two sons. His hobbies include cycling and running [9]. He resides near Munich in Germany.
