Saniya is a small village of 1493 hectares in Didwana Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Saniya depends on Didwana, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Saniya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Saniya's pin code is 341318[4], and village code is 01778000. The area of Saniya is segregated as 514.93 hectares irrigated area, 895.48 hectares unirrigated, remaining 82.57 hectare area not available for cultivation.
