Sangasar is a small village of 1183 hectares in Ratangarh Tehsil in Churu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sangasar depends on RATANGARH, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Sangasar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tanker. Sangasar's pin code is 331022[4], and village code is 00650300. The area of Sangasar is segregated as 1070.01 hectares unirrigated, the 45.22 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 67.44 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of RATANGARH and Churu to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
