Sandiya is a small village of 185 hectares in Gangrar Tehsil in Chittorgarh district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sandiya depends on Chittaurgarh, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Sandiya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Sandiya's pin code is 312901[4], and village code is 03543100. The area of Sandiya is segregated as 15.7 hectares irrigated area, 35.6 hectares unirrigated, the 102.21 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 31.87 hectare area not available for cultivation.
