Sandeep Vohra is an Indian psychiatrist based in New Delhi. He practises at Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals and founded No Worry No Tension Healthcare (NWNT), a digital mental health company that received investment from Dabur India chairman Amit Burman in 2020.[1][2]

Early life and education

Vohra obtained his MBBS from University College of Medical Sciences, University of Delhi, in 1989 and his MD in Psychiatry from Lady Hardinge Medical College, University of Delhi, in 1994.[3][4]

Career

Vohra has been in clinical practice in New Delhi since 1994. He is a senior consultant psychiatrist at Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals and also practises at BLK Max Super Speciality Hospital.[4][5] He also runs a private telepsychiatry clinic, Vohra Neuropsychiatry Centre, in East Patel Nagar, New Delhi.[3]

He has appeared as a commentator on mental health topics on several Indian television channels, including Times Now and Lok Sabha Television,[6] and has been quoted in The Indian Express and by ANI on subjects such as post-lockdown anxiety and the psychological impact of the 2023 Uttarkashi tunnel collapse.[7][8]

No Worry No Tension Healthcare

In 2011, Vohra founded No Worry No Tension Healthcare (NWNT), a Delhi-based startup focused on digital mental health screening and services.[1] In May 2020, Amit Burman, then chairman of Dabur India, acquired a stake in NWNT in his personal capacity as part of a pre-series A round. The investment was covered by The Economic Times, VCCircle, and Inc42.[1][2][9]

NWNT's core product is a digital stress screening tool originally called the Stressometer, which Vohra developed and published a validation study for in the Indian Journal of Psychiatry in 2019, with co-authors from the University of Houston-Clear Lake and the University of Delhi.[10] An updated version of the tool, renamed the Emotional Wellness Index, received a patent in India in October 2025, as reported by BioSpectrum India.[11]

Professional memberships

Vohra served as president of the Delhi Psychiatric Society, as recorded in a photograph published by the India Today Group via Getty Images.[12] He later chaired the Digital Mental Health Task Force of the Indian Psychiatric Society, as listed in official IPS committee documents for 2021 and 2023–2024.[13][14] He is a member of the World Psychiatric Association, Indian Psychiatric Society, and Delhi Psychiatric Society.[3]
