Sanchiya is a small village of 912 hectares in Dungarpur Tehsil in Dungarpur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sanchiya depends on Dungarpur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 30.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Sanchiya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Sanchiya's pin code is 314804[4], and village code is 03291600. The area of Sanchiya is segregated as 70 hectares irrigated area, 308 hectares unirrigated, the 148 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 386 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Dungarpur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
