Samuray Kuba July 5 July 1985 in Havana, Cuba is a Cuban musician who lives in Switzerland. He sings and produces Urban Latin Music[1], a mixture of traditional Cuban music with Hip Hop/Rap and Reggaeton.

Biography

Samuray Kuba (Switzerland, 2019) González studied guitar and percussion at the music college in Havana[2]. At the age of 18 he began his career as a Rapper in Cuba. In the first year he won the singing competition at the Rap Plaza Festival[3] in Havana with his self-composed song “Así seré por siempre”. He recorded his first album “A mi Cuba” in 2006 in Havana, where some musicians from the Buena Vista Social Club also played. In 2014 this album was released in Switzerland on all digital platforms. He released his second album “BOOMMMM[4]” in 2016 in Switzerland. In 2015 the first contract was signed with Music Hit Factory (Spain) with the song "Te llamé[5]". In 2017 another contract was signed with Universal Music Group Switzerland with the song “Estoy aquí[6]” and “Enamorado” (2018). At the Gala Latina #LoNuestro in December 2018 in Lausanne, he was named “Best Urban Latin Artist” in Switzerland. Kuba's last single has been Music recording certification: " Ella baila sola[7] " in the wiss market.
