Samuil Bakačič or Samuilo Bakačič (Serbian: Самуило Бакачич; 17th century) was a hieromonk, translator and teacher from the Monastic Republic of Mount Athos.

At the time of strengthening cultural ties with Imperial Russia, during the reigns of Tsars Alexis of Russia and Peter the Great, Samuilo bakačič came to Mount Athos in 1669 and translated from Russian and Greek theological books and liturgical and monastic hesychastic readings into Slavonic-Serbian: "The Messiah of Truth" (1669) by Joannikius Galiatovski,[1]"Salvation" (1684 or 1686) by Bible translations into Greek, "The Spiritual Magnet" (1690) by Gabriel of Mount Athos[2], "The Sacred Land" (1691) of Damaskinos Stouditis, and "The Handbook Against the Papal Schism" of Maximus the Greek.
