Samuel Nicholas D'Amico (born Sep 2, 2006) is an American Democratic politician. He is currently running for Wisconsin's 82nd Assembly district in the November 2024 election. His district comprises most of the City of Waukesha within Waukesha County.
Early life and education
Born in Waukesha, Wisconsin, D'Amico attended Waukesha South High School.[1]
Political career
D'Amico announced his candidacy for State Assembly via public Facebook post on his campaign's Facebook page on March 27, 2024.[2] He is currently running for Wisconsin's 82nd Assembly district in the November 2024 election. Scott Allen the incumbent representative was redistricted out of the 97th Assembly district as a result of the Wisconsin Supreme Court decision in Clarke v. Wisconsin Elections Commission, which declared the previous legislative district map to be unconstitutional on December 22, 2023. Tony Evers signed the plan into law on February 19, 2024.[3]
