Samraya is a small village of 399 hectares in Weir Tehsil in Bharatpur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Samraya depends on Weir, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Samraya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Samraya's pin code is 321408[4], and village code is 01066400. The area of Samraya is segregated as 260 hectares irrigated area, 84 hectares unirrigated, the 10 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 32 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Weir and Bharatpur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
