Samrani is a small village of 1182 hectares in Raniwara Tehsil in Jalor district, also known as Granite City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Samrani depends on BHINMAL, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 11.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Samrani is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Samrani's pin code is 343040[4], and village code is 02334200. The area of Samrani is segregated as 71 hectares irrigated area, 497 hectares unirrigated, the 567 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 47 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of BHINMAL and Jalor to sell earthen pot and make their living.
