Samokhi is a small village of 510 hectares in Jaitaran Tehsil in Pali district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Samokhi depends on Jaitaran, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 144.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Samokhi is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Samokhi's pin code is 306303[4], and village code is 02399000. The area of Samokhi is segregated as 214 hectares irrigated area, 187 hectares unirrigated, the 91 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 18 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jaitaran and Pali to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
