Samogar is a small village of 506 hectares in Bayana Tehsil in Bharatpur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Samogar depends on Bayana, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Samogar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Samogar's pin code is 321411[4], and village code is 01081100. The area of Samogar is segregated as 123 hectares irrigated area, 233 hectares unirrigated, the 88 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 62 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bayana and Bharatpur to sell rope making and make their living.
