Samli Kham is a small village of 832 hectares in Pirawa Tehsil in Jhalawar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Samli Kham depends on Jhalrapatan, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Samli Kham is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Samli Kham's pin code is 326036[4], and village code is 04100100. The area of Samli Kham is segregated as 262.82 hectares irrigated area, 105.74 hectares unirrigated, the 94.3 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 28.35 hectare area not available for cultivation.
