Sameedhi is a small village of 1796 hectares in Nainwa Tehsil in Bundi district, also known as a city of stepwells in the State of Rajasthan, India.[1] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sameedhi depends on NAINWA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[2] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 93.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Sameedhi is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Sameedhi's pin code is 323801[3], and village code is 02714500. The area of Sameedhi is segregated as 714 hectares irrigated area, 830 hectares unirrigated, the 93 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 159 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Sameedhi has One post office (Samidhi B.O). The village is connected with a single bus service. Sameedhi has Two banks, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Sameedhi is a census village in the district of Bundi, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2956 and has total administration over 576 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of NAINWA and Bundi to sell juggery and make their living.
