Sambhusar is a small village of 678 hectares in Sheo Tehsil in Barmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sambhusar depends on BARMER, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Sambhusar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Sambhusar's pin code is 344701[4], and village code is 02095500. The area of Sambhusar is segregated as 476 hectares unirrigated, the 200 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 2.48 hectare area not available for cultivation.
